Bottle shape Cross flow cooling towers offer excellent, easy accessibility of all key components such as fill, drift eliminators, mechanical equipment, and water distribution system. This takes out a lot of the hassle for your maintenance personnel. IXF Series bottle shape Cross flow cooling towers are designed with the flexibility to choose cell size, fiberglass or wood structure, varying fill heights, multiple splash fill configurations, and 50 to 250 horsepower fan systems, to optimize for installed cost, power consumption, and site limitations.
Process:
Bottle shape Cross flow cooling tower is a design in which the airflow is directed perpendicular to the water flow. Air enters through one or more vertical faces of the cooling tower to meet the fill material. Water flows (perpendicular to the air) through the fill by gravity. The air continues through the fill and thus past the water flow into an open plenum volume. Lastly, a fan forces the moisture laden air out into the atmosphere. A distribution or a hot water basin consisting of holes or nozzles in its bottom is located near the top of a bottle shape cross flow cooling tower. Gravity distributes the water through the nozzles uniformly across the fill material. it is heavy industrial use and long service life, each tower is customized to meet your exact specifications for performance, structure, drift, and sound.
