Fully FRP field-erected cooling towers
Our product line serie CT-BORA includes five models of field-erected induced draft cooling towers that are made exclusively of composite materials – fibre-reinforced plastic/glass-reinforced polymer (FRP/GRP).
Our CT-BORA cooling towers are manufactured using only the highest quality materials characterised by heavy-duty durability, high resistance to corrosion and weather conditions. The cooling towers are designed with view of providing easy and convenient access to all sub-assemblies, which considerably facilitates maintenance, part replacement and servicing. CT-BORA cooling towers are made exclusively of fibre-reinforced plastic/glass-reinforced polymer (FRP/GRP), offering a perfect alternative to other cooling towers, particularly stainless steel solutions, by reducing costs and ensuring high quality and efficiency of the product.

Supporting structure, sheathing
Both the framework and the sheathing of the structure are made of glass-reinforced polymer (FRP/GRP). The material is characterised by good resistance to high temperatures, UV radiation, and abrasive wear, which allows the cooling towers to be used in even the harshest operating conditions.
Fan assembly
The fan assembly motor is located outside the fan stack area (and is connected to the rotor assembly via a drive shaft). This solution allows easy and unhindered access to the drive unit, which is additionally adapted to work with an inverter.
Cooling fill
For standard use with clean technological water the cooling fill is self-extinguishing PVC or PP. It is possible to use cooling fill with higher resistance to waterborne pollutants (PVC or PP).
Water distribution
Installed above the packing and utilising spray nozzles to distribute water evenly over the entire surface. Made of polypropylene (PP), optionally stainless steel.
